We are happy to announce the second annual Global Kum Nye Festival, an annual gathering to celebrate our love of Kum Nye Relaxation together. For over 50 years Kum Nye Tibetan Yoga has been a gateway into Nyingma teachings, bringing ease and joy into the lives of many people. The Global Kum Nye Festival will take place in the second weekend of October, from various locations around the world.
The Global Kum Nye Festival consists of four online practice sessions hosted by experienced Kum Nye teachers from all over the world. Together we will explore the roots of Kum Nye and the joys of its many applications – through short presentations, practices and shared reflections on the potential of Kum Nye. Each session of 1,5 hours is hosted by a moderator.
Kum Nye has a powerful healing effect, integrating body and mind in new and fresh ways. The theme of this Kum Nye Festival will be Healing and transformation

Honoring the Kum Nye teachings of Tarthang Rinpoche
We will honor the Kum Nye teachings of Tarthang Rinpoche with exercises and meditations from Kum Nye a Tibetan Yoga, The Joy of Being, and Kum Nye Dancing. In just a few decades many have benefitted from these unique and beneficial teachings. We invite you to practice together for these two days and to celebrate some creative and healing applications of Kum Nye that have emerged around the world.
Donation for World Peace
The funds raised by this event will all be donated to the World Peace Stupa Project. To promote world peace and harmony Tarthang Rinpoche is encouraging the building of 4 large World Peace Stupas with prayer wheels on four continents: Japan, Middle-East, South America and Europe.
The suggested donation for this event is € 108,- . You can register in euros below and with reals at the Nyingma Center in Rio. All Kum Nye lovers are welcome to attend. Join us during this weekend in four online practice sessions featuring a treasury of Kum Nye teachers from all over the world. The sessions can be followed online from your own home or at your local Nyingma center.
Thus far, the following Nyingma centers are organizing in-person gatherings: NCN Amsterdam, NZD Köln and CNBT Rio de Janeiro. Please email your local center to take part in person. The zoomlink and a detailed version of the program will be sent to you shortly before the event.

During this weekend we will honor the Kum Nye teachings of Tarthang Rinpoche by practicing exercises and meditations from ‘Kum Nye a Tibetan Yoga’, ‘The Joy of Being’, and ‘Kum Nye Dancing’, avaliable in many languages through a.o. Dharma Publishing and Lotus Design Shop.

We specially invite all Kum Nye teachers and dedicated Kum Nye practitioners from around the world to attend.
When
This second global Kum Nye Fest will take place on October 12 and 13, from 9 am to 12 am (PST) 13h-16h (BR-AR) 18.00-21.00 (CEST).
The four sessions will be held in different locations around the world simultaneously. You can follow the sessions online through Zoom. Some of the Nyingma organisations involved will host the Kum Nye Festival at their local center.
