Presentation – Walking in the Footsteps of the Buddha

With Dr. Richard Dixey and Wangmo Dixey

Friday november 7th | Live & Online

Presentation about the Work of the Light of Buddhadharma Foundation International

Join us for a special evening with Dr. Richard Dixey and Wangmo Dixey, directors of Light of Buddhadharma Foundation International, who will share their inspiring work to revive and preserve the sacred Buddhist sites of India.

Through captivating photographs and a short film, they will guide us on a journey from the time of King Ashoka, who first enshrined the Dharma across India, to the modern revival of the Theravāda Sangha and the growing vibrancy of Buddhist communities today.

The talk will also feature the Foundation’s most recent initiative—the 1st Guru Padmasambhava Ceremony—and its groundbreaking work to revive the Diamond Triangle of Odisha (Udayagiri, Ratnagiri, and Lalitagiri), three of India’s most important ancient Buddhist sites.

This presentation will highlight the efforts of the Light of Buddhadharma Foundation International (LBDFI) to renew and protect the heritage of the Buddha’s path—bringing alive the timeless tradition of walking in his footsteps.
